Disability claims across U.S. rise in recession

The number of people that have applied for Social Security Disability Insurance benefits from the Social Security Administration in the past three years has increased drastically.
With the unemployment rate growing, it may be making it more difficult for disabled Americans to get a job. Officials have said that the increase in claims during a recession is not a new trend because disabled Americans who can not get jobs now have to apply for benefits. Nationally, the number of filings have increased from over 2 million in 2008 to over 3 million in 2011.
If you or a loved one is in need of disability benefits, but have found the process to be very confusing, you need experienced representation on your side. Contact the Ohio Social Security Disability lawyers today in order to discuss your options.
